About Me

I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Puget Sound.

I earned my M.S. and Ph.D. in Information and Computer Science from the Informatics Department at the University of California Irvine, where I worked with Bill Tomlinson. I earned my B.A. in Mathematics and English from Colorado College.

While my current focus is on teaching, my research interests include games and gamification, computer science education, HCI, pervasive systems, and social computing.

I am on the job market this year! On this page you can find links to my curriculum vitae, teaching philosophy, and research statement.

More information abut my teaching (including past syllabi) can be on my teaching page, and more information about my research can be found on my research and publications pages.
